About
Ishara was born in Sri Lanka and completed his Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology University in 2019. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on transmission electron microscopy-based approaches to gain mechanistic insights into the roles of Notch signaling in mature kidney epithelium. He joined the RRC in March 2020.
