About
Dr.Ganesh completed his MS in Medical Biochemistry and his PhD from the Faculty of Medicine. His post-doctoral research was in the field of auotimmunity, particulary autoimmune thyroiditis and Type 1 diabetes. He is the recepient of two Young Scientist awards and received the Travel Award at the Great Lakes International Imaging and Flow cytometry Association. He is a member of the International Society for Analytical Cytometry and has served as the Director of the Flow cytometry core lab since 2010. He continues to collaborate with researchers at UIC, particulary in the field of Immunology.
