Cancellation window for IVIS Spectrum and VisualSonics Vevo 2100 are up to 12 hours in advance with no cost or penalty.
The CVRC staff understands that some experiments must be timed to coincide with the reservation of an instrument and that sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances may require the cancellation of a reservation within 12 hour window. In this situation, a user may cancel during the 12 hour window prior to reservation by emailing Maricela Castellon at mcaste4@uic.edu with no cost or penalty. A missed reservation or failure to cancel any unused reservation without proper notice will result in full charge of online reservation.
