All consultations and grant support are free of charge.
Analysis with the RIC is expected to be a collaborative effort, where we design an analysis plan that is best suited to address your biological question and adapt and update the plan according to the needs of the project. All projects start with an initial consultation meeting, following which we will create a project plan and budget estimate for your project for your approval before beginning any analysis.
Please acknowledge the RIC’s contribution to the bioinformatics analysis in your work. In some cases, where extensive bioinformatics analyses have been customized for your research project, we can assist with manuscript preparation and appreciate inclusion in publication authorship.
We are managed by the Research Resources Center (RRC), funded by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Research (OVCR). We are also supported in part by the Cancer Center (UICC) and the Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS). Please include acknowledgments for the above resources as well.
